Dr. Charles Agorogo

Dr. Charles Agorogo is a dedicated Doctor of Optometry with a strong foundation in clinical practice, ocular imaging, research, community eye health, and patient-centred optometric care. He currently serves as an Optometrist at Permeff Eye Care, UPSA Branch, where he assists the Medical Director, Dr. Emefa Titiati, in clinical service delivery and specialist optometric support.

 
Professional Qualifications and Training
Dr. Agorogo holds a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Cape Coast, completed in 2023 with Second Class Upper Division honors. He has also participated in professional learning activities, including conferences and lectures on keratoconus treatment, glaucoma, and clinical management.

 
Career Experience and Institutional Role

His clinical experience includes service at Ga South Municipal Hospital, 37 Military Hospital, Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Keta Municipal Hospital, and Permeff Eye Clinic. His work includes comprehensive eye examination, refraction, visual acuity assessment, ocular imaging, Optical Coherence Tomography, Visual Field Analysis, applanation tonometry, slit-lamp assessment, spectacle prescription, and pre- and post-operative support for cataract and pterygium patients.
