Dr. Perfect Emefa Titiati

Dr. Perfect Emefa Titiati is an accomplished Optometrist, healthcare leader, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Permeff Eye Care. She is widely recognised for her clinical expertise, administrative leadership, commitment to specialist eye care, and passion for improving access to quality eye health services in Ghana.

 

Professional Qualifications and Training

Dr. Titiati began her professional training at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ophthalmic Science in May 2008. She subsequently earned a Doctor of Optometry degree from the same university in May 2010. She also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Ghana, Legon, and pursued a Master of Science
degree in Clinical Optometry at Cardiff University, United Kingdom, on a Commonwealth Scholarship.

 

Career Experience and Institutional Role

Following her internship as an optometrist intern and teaching assistant in the Department of Optometry at the University of Cape Coast, she began her professional career with Delcielo Opticals Services. She later joined St. Thomas Eye Hospital, formerly North Western Eye Clinic, where she served as Resident Optometrist and was subsequently elevated to Deputy Medical Director, with oversight of administration. At Permeff Eye Care, she provides strategic leadership, clinical direction, and institutional oversight.
